My Reason For Purchasing A Beautiful MindDVD.
I wrote this review a year or so ago for another review site which has since closed. I thought I would upload it here as A Beautiful Mind is one of my favourite Drama films ever and I just wanted to recommend it and give some opinions on it. There is quite a few reviews already about it, but I just wanted to give my two cents worth also.
A Beautiful mind is one of my favourite Russell Crowe Movies. I actually like this better than the movie Gladiator. Angels and demons was a film that I had wanted to watch for a while, having been a great fan of the book, and the previous film The Da Vinci Code, I knew that this film would be both controversial yet at the same time very action packed and entertaining.
Ron Howard is a great director he made the Da Vinci code live up to the book, and previous work in Apollo Thirteen has meant that he does no how to make a great film, with a great cast, great plot and great twist. Some would say that it?s easy to direct a film that was a book, however I think its even harder, You have to make the film suspenseful, people who read the book might no the outcome of the film, but if you put enough thought into it you can still make the intrigued.

is clearly a sign of good directing, the writers and directors in the film have made it so mysterious yet very easy to look into and come up with a range of valuable conclusions.
I love a film which gets the mind going, and mine really was working the whole way through this film.
The main disadvantage with the storyline being so strongly based on religion is that if like me you are not from a religious or religiously educated background, it is hard to understand on the first watch, some of the characters, their statuses and also what certain revelations within the story mean. It was only after watching the Da Vinci code that I learnt many terms which helped me through Angels and Demons. Without these, i think much of the film will have been lost on me.
