Now to the poistive points, the film is very dark, at points very very scary and throughout is gross in no uncertain terms, I would even go as far as to say vile at some places. The effects are astounding for of film of this time, the actors are credible, and you actually find more depth in this movie than you would from say the exorcist. Advantages: Very goring if you like that sort of thing Disadvantages: Not a brilliant story line a bit vague
...end only to find the demons got out and its spread all over so again try to escape that. A truly grusome film to watch but if you like that sort of thing then this is the film for you. I would definately keep my copies for that reason.

...People are turning into demons and trying to kill each other. Add the unnecessary 4 smack heads who enter the building after running away from the police and the storyline is well and truly lost. The make up is pretty decent for the time, but the storyline is weak, the performances are awful. No surprise I have never heard of anyone in the film and never will. So I would leave this film well alone if I was you. I also got Demons 2 to watch, but I ...

DVD Description
A special collection of Lamberto Bava and Dario Argento's DEMONS (1985) and DEMONS 2 (1986). DEMONS follows two young girls who go to a brutal zombie movie and begin to notice happenings in theatre mirroring the action on screen. Soon, half of the audience have been turned into blood thirsty zombies, forcing the remaining patrons to defend themselves from the unholy beasts. Stylish, gory, and bleakly funny, DEMONS is a hugely entertaining horror movie. Bava and Argento followed up DEMONS with DEMONS 2, which finds an apartment building being overrun by demons that emerge from a television set. Filled with more of the over-the-top gore effects that made DEMONS so much fun, DEMONS 2 is not only a top notch sequel, but also a continuation of Bava and Argento's playful metaphysical riff on the effects of watching horror films. Both films are presented in their complete uncut versions.
