more...floating in the river, it is determined that the victim was murdered before the ferry blast occurred. Unfortunately, the victim was the impossibly beautiful Claire Kuchever (Paula Patton), whose death has begun to torment Carlin. Adding a new level to the investigation is a top-secret FBI invention, which allows a select group to view the past on screen as if it had been videotaped days earlier. The more Carlin sees of Kuchever, the more connected to her he becomes, until he decides to risk his life by travelling back in time and altering the course of history.

Denzel Washington in a film is usually a good indicator that it's worth watching, and that's the case with Deja Vu.
Denzel plays an ATF agent (bit like HM Customs and Excise in UK), who is called to investigate the bombing of a ferry with 500 Navy personnel and family on board. Leads are a bit vague until another body is found upstream with all the characteristics of being a victim, but having been found BEFORE the bomb went off. So the plot thickens as FBI agent Val Kilmer turns up claiming to have satellite spy footage showing the area from 4 days ago. Washington soon realises this is more than just 'footage' and begins to see ways he can not only catch the killer, but maybe even stop him.
You have to watch it without trying to pick holes and if you do you'll enjoy it.
