Advantages: Nothing to complain about Disadvantages: Could have sqeezed one more show in
I cannot comment in comparison to the rest of the series, as I have not seen the others, however I found this DVD which is a collection of three episodes of pure black comedy to be one of the best I'd ever seen.
Its amazing how all of the acts are still as funny today, despite them all being performed 12 years ago, as I am only 15 it shows how you did not have to be there at the time to get the jokes. The O.J. Simpson trial is one of the main themes here, so it is evident that the process had recently been completed. There are various angles which th comedians go into concerning the matter, all obviously ending hilariously.
Something which attracted me to buying this DVD out of the collection was the lin-up of many familiar faces who apparently had began their journey to success from this comedy series. Many of whom now are found ...
Advantages: Wrestle as well-know rappers Disadvantages: Nothing to do once complete
with a laid-back attitude to life, which when ultimately you fight him you find to be a serious challenge. Your main objective is to get up in the undergound.
It is dissappointing as for the story mode you must choose one of a very limited, 4 characters. They should have included a create-a-fighter mode, however this wasn't brought in until the next title. The plot is very straightforward as you fight to gain respect then get girlfriends. You gradually meet more as you beat people like N.O.R.E. in his specially-themed "Grimeyville" and Ludacris in "Club Luda", from these examples you can see that all the real rappers have individual places where you fight them to suit their characters. Also the MCs themselves choses these locations and their special moves, this gives an extra level of authentitcity to the DefJam title.
The gameplay is very ...
Advantages: Cartoon entertainment for kids Disadvantages: not as funny as the original, bad graphics, poor comedy
'smashing' stories; 1. Neighbourly Bean, 2. Nurse, 3. Dead Cat, 4. Super Trolley, 5. Magpie, 6. Cat Sitting, & 7. The Bottle. By 'smashing' i think they must be refering to the clumsiness of the Beanmeister and not the quality of the comedy. Although the soundtrack is fairly impressive, especailly for something which appears to be aimed at kids. The ochestral music makes up most of the dialog for all the episodes as Mr Bean just mumbles and grunts every now and then. However other characters do speak for example Irma Gobb (mr beans romatic interest) and also the post man and other neighbours. Teddy however doesnt say anything, but then again why would he?
Graphics are very basic and they've made his head way too big for his body. He looks like an orange on a toothpick! However i'm sure this is done on purpose and to appeal to kids. As ...
