Advantages: Nothing to complain about Disadvantages: Could have sqeezed one more show in
I cannot comment in comparison to the rest of the series, as I have not seen the others, however I found this DVD which is a collection of three episodes of pure black comedy to be one of the best I'd ever seen.
Its amazing how all of the acts are still as funny today, despite them all being performed 12 years ago, as I am only 15 it shows how you did not have to be there at the time to get the jokes. The O.J. Simpson trial is one of the main themes here, so it is evident that the process had recently been completed. There are various angles which th comedians go into concerning the matter, all obviously ending hilariously.
Something which attracted me to buying this DVD out of the collection was the lin-up of many familiar faces who apparently had began their journey to success from this comedy series. Many of whom now are found ...
Advantages: GOOD SOUNDTRACK Disadvantages: GAMEPLAY; VARIETY OF MOVES;
Awful Awful Awful!!!
Very disappointed with this game!! It only cost me £20 brand new but still felt that I was ripped off!
You start off where, as usual you have a choice of characters to choose from, which there is a few who are the stars of the DefJam Record label then you move on to fight!!
Graphics aren't that good but the music is great as it's all pretty new Hip Hop music which appeals to me but then there's the gameplay!!
That's when it gets ugly!!
There are very few moves to use when you are fighting which is very poor for a fighting game, it's very slow and you don't have a health bar, you have to guess your health by the background colouring which I found very awkward to use.
I played this a few times as I thought I was doing something wrong but the same happened every time.
Again, very disappointed ...
Advantages: graphics and sound are great Disadvantages: slow, no feel of control cliche and cheesy
I can't say I expected much from this game, mainly because I follow underground hip hop and hate most of the comercial music that most of the artists on the game make. Secondly a load of rappers fighting each other is just a bit sad, look at me i'm such a hard man rapper e.t.c.
Ignoring all this I decided to play the game as if it was just a straight out fighter. The graphics I have to say are stunning the sound is also good, interactive backgrounds with things blowing up when you are thrown into them.
Unfortunatly for me this is where the excitement stopped, the fighting is very wooden and quite slow. Combinations are preset to pressing the same button repeatedly. Pressing one button won't always give the same result, will it punch or kick who knows? This is how it feels anyway, you never really feel in control you may as well ...
