Advantages: Nothing to complain about Disadvantages: Could have sqeezed one more show in
I cannot comment in comparison to the rest of the series, as I have not seen the others, however I found this DVD which is a collection of three episodes of pure black comedy to be one of the best I'd ever seen.
Its amazing how all of the acts are still as funny today, despite them all being performed 12 years ago, as I am only 15 it shows how you did not have to be there at the time to get the jokes. The O.J. Simpson trial is one of the main themes here, so it is evident that the process had recently been completed. There are various angles which th comedians go into concerning the matter, all obviously ending hilariously.
Something which attracted me to buying this DVD out of the collection was the lin-up of many familiar faces who apparently had began their journey to success from this comedy series. Many of whom now are found ...
Advantages: Wrestle as well-know rappers Disadvantages: Nothing to do once complete
simple for the game, far less complex than WWE SmackDown! games, however, if you are used to wrestling games then you will have only played that sereis and therefore it does take some time to get used to. I felt it took me a while to complete when a first got it. Once I did finish the story mode, I gave it to my sister and she managed to complete it over a weekend. This shows you that it is simple to pick up and play but I don't know how she beat D-Mob because he is like bosses from retro games in that he is stronger, and recovers faster than you or any other fighter.
You cannot complain about the roster because eventhough it doesn't compare to the newer games, however now it's not just DefJam members. Also the people used were the biggest stars of DefJam in 2003. The fights are all fought within a ring (and outside of it) which is fully ...
Advantages: A hip-hop wrestling game to compete with Smackdown! Disadvantages: Limited modes and there are no objects to interact with
at the start of the Story Mode. You fight for cash which you can use to build up your wrestlers attributes eg. strength, stamina, defence etc. Or you can use your money to puchase pictures in the DefJam Galleries which are pictures of all the hip-hop laydees you meet on your way up the underground wrestling ladder. The boss is D-Mob who you will eventually meet in the end. As you progress throughout the Story Mode your oppponents will become harder so I advise that you spend your money wisely on attributes. The nice thing about the Story Mode is the cinematic cut scenes they are good.
There is also an Exhibition Mode which is limited to say the least. There are a few match types Single, Tag, Handicap and Free For All.
Single: A one on one fight.
Tag: Like a Single match only you have a tag partner to tag in if things get tough ...
