Conspiracy Theories - The Death of Marilyn Monroe DVD

Advantages: Good fun family film
Disadvantages: Nothing too deep

...harmless fun really. Marilyn's character is rather dippy and I wouldn't say this is the best film to showcase her acting skills, but she does very well with what she is given. Bacall probably has the more attractive character as she is intelligent and interesting, while Grable and Monroe's characters are simply very sweet, lovable and endearing. Bacall's Schatze is less endearing, but has more depth. Each one gets their chance to shine though, with their own sub-plots. Overall, it's a film you don't need to concentrate on much. It's an ideal Sunday afternoon family film, which you can watch with your kids or your grandparents. It's not a challenging film or an original plot (three girls looking for rich husbands), but it's a light romantic comedy which is enjoyable and well-paced.
