life! Tim Wonnacott hosts Bargain Hunt with panache, he is always suited and booted and quite obviously loves stylish clothes and hats. His attire is different, for want of a better word! and his voice is `plummy`. He loves to dress the dandy and even more so he adores to flirt with his female contestants, his repartee is more often than not spattered with innuendo. Although Tim can come across as being letcherous I think that he does a good job and that his saucy talk is his way of injecting an element of fun into Bargain Hunt. When the two teams have bought their wares, with the assistance of the expert the next step is to get the auctioneers opinion of their purchases. Review of Bargain Hunt

long live bargain hunt

Advantages: it is just 100% unbridled quality
Disadvantages: how dare you insinuate that there may be a disadvantage

camp, extremely quirky but all very entertaining. Any programme that can ridicule people so freely without any offence taken is sublime. It has a very noticeable presenter, with a very distinct way of presenting that seemed to have died out in the eighties. But he has proven that with sarcasm, campness, sharp appearance and interaction with the audience rarely seen on TV. The show is one of the finest on TV so I now want us all to join together and start a campaign to get it on at prime time. Imagine being able to watch the programme at 8 o’clock on a Tuesday night, it is the perfect end to the day. Also can we not get Dave Dickinson his own chat show, which would be the single greatest televisual treat of any week. Long live Bargain Hunt. ...

car boot sale

Advantages: one mans junk is anothers treasure
Disadvantages: none

This is going to make me sound like a real snob but i am not i promise, when i was younger in my teenage years my mother would drag me along to a carboot sale every sunday morning, i absolutley hated it, for one it was sunday morning and in a teenagers world that doesnt exist and secondly why would i want to buy second hand junk that no one else wanted? Well this all changed after i left home and moved to a little town with a market hall that had carboot sales every tuesday, friday and saturday. I have had some great bargains from car boot sales, i am still a bit of a snob as i wont uy second hand shoes or clothes but a lot of my ornaments came from carboot sales as anyone with children wil know expensive ornaments are a definate no no, you dont mind so much when it gets broken if you have only paid 50p for it. books for both ...
