This box set is great for old fans of the show, as takes you back to the very beginning of Dawson's Creek, right through the end. I loved the show when it was on television, but obviously never managed to watch every single episode, so it was great to be able to fill in the gaps, and relive my favourite episodes. I soon found that I was once again hooked on the series, watching episode after episode.
If you haven't watched the show before, it is still well worth buying. Dawson's Creek is an American series aimed at a teenage audience, which follows a group of teenagers who are experiencing the things we all go through as we grow up. There are countless dramas and dilemmas involving relationships, friendships, school and college, and of course their families. The characters are very easy to relate to, and the storylines are everchanging to keep you entertained. I would describe the series as the 90s version of the OC, but in my opinion Dawson's Creek is much better. I also loved the music featured in the show, which is mainly acoustic.
I was fairly disappointed with the lack of special features on the DVD, and felt they could have added something extra, such as cast interviews or a "what they did next", especially considering the fame the show has brought to cast members such as James Van Der Beek and Katie Holmes.
Overall, it is definitely worth buying, either for yourself, or as a gift for any Dawson's Creek fan.
