Advantages: Current American Idol winner, a musician Disadvantages: None
This...... is the current American Idol Winner.
David Cook is the American Idol that nearly never was. He actually was not initially going to try out for the television talent show, he was at the auditions to support his brother but, after some pushing from his brother, decided to audition too. A good decision, because he became the winner of the seventh season of American Idol in 2008.
David Cook is classified as a Rock, singer-songwriter. His sound is definitely very rocky, but in my opinion quite soft rock. He has a very deep, raspy voice that lends itself very well to this type of music. What I really like about him is that he can actually play an instrument, unlike a lot of the new pop stars out there today who are just manufactured. Advantages: Great magic tricks Disadvantages: Not for the squeamish
We've all read about David Blaine in the news a few months ago, doing another one of his crazy stunts, in this case trying to hold his breath underwater for around nine minutes. Before this stunt some of you may remember him sitting in a box near to the Thames for a few months, and even before that you may remember him being frozen in ice. This Showman DVD concerns his frozen in ice preparations and how he managed to survive in freezing cold temperatures for such a long time. Interspliced between this are a number of amazing magic tricks which leave you wondering, how?
On the DVD we see Blaine's preparations for this arduous stunt right from the start, as he gets his health checks done and makes his initial preparations. Although some of us are a little sceptical of Blaine about his motives for performing these crazy stunts, you have ...

"The Life of David Gale" by Alan Parker
***
"The Life of David Gale," Starring Kate Winslet, Kevin Spacey, Laura Linney, is not exactly clear what type of actors it requires. It takes some sort of talent to make a film as completely, overbearing and downright clear images. Rate as thriller, classic thriller lovers doesn’t have to like it. In this case, "David Gale" is little more than propaganda, as a dramatic feature — which might be fine if this were a documentary, where such things are expected or barely tolerated. Kevin Spacey is far too consummate movie actor and a personality with a strong social sense for justice. He exposes both sides in "The Life of David Gale". This is a death penalty drama directed and co-produced by vibrant well know by such movies filmmaker, Alan Parker.
