He takes things slowly but certainly not simply, and these routines require practise before you will be able to wow your friends with a perfect rendition of Britneys moves.Darrin is no ordinary choreographer: growing up in the Bronx he learnt his skill through street jazz and watching the B-boys of the early 1980s. Here he gives snippets of his dance ethos, such as never mixing styles because they express different emotions, and explains how he picks up on the vibe of a song rather than the words (which explains the lack of poignant hand gestures!). Although this is not an exercise video as such, there is a nice warm-up section to begin with and once you have the dance moves down you should work up a sweat whenever you dance it out with Darrin.--Nikki Disney

The first time i heard about this DVD, i was watching TV, and an advert for it came on. It told me that it wasn't available in shops and you could only order online, or over the phone. As a fan of dancing, and making up dance's, i decided i wanted to buy it, so i ordered it online about a week later. The DVD was delivered to me about 10 days after i placed the order, and i straight away put it into the DVd player, to test it out.
The Front cover is intriging, as it's colourful, and loud, filled with bright pinks, and blues. There's a picture of Darrin Henson, and underneath is White writing in bold, reading, "He's back!"
One thing that made me think i would like it, is the fact that he's a professional choreographer to the stars, and has taught the likes of Britney Spears, Nsync, Justin Timberlake, Jennifer Lopez, Usher ...
Advantages: Fun, great music, basic and easy to understand Disadvantages: not so good to "get fit", too basic at some points
I've literally just finished the end of this DVD and thought Id write the review whilst it was still fresh in my mind!
Pineapple Studios Everybody Dance does what it says on the tin "Learn To Dance, Get fit, & have fun!" - but only just.
The choreographer is really good, and her credibility is backed up by the fact that she has worked with stars like the Sugababes, Rihanna and Mary J Blige. You definitely warm to her, shes not patronising, and you do feel part of the dance class whilst she is teaching you the moves!
There are three main routines that she teaches you, each with a chorus and verse - "Maneater" by Nelly Furtado, "SOS" By Rhianna, "Aint No Other Man" by Christina Aguilera and "Beep" by The Pussycat Dolls. The DVD also includes other extras like meeting the dance troupe, make up tips etc as well as a full routine ...

At they end they do there dance that they have been practising and they do it beautifully.
This is a lovely film but it is not for the young ones, I was say 12+ to be honest although on the DVD box it states 15+.
The running time is 1hr 45 mins and it was fist released in 1987.
It is a great film and would recommend if you havent seen it yet. You will really enjoy it.
Another one for Patrick Swayze Fans ...
