Bye Darkman, Bye Bye
Review of Darkman 3 - Die Darkman Die DVD by  wampyrii

Advantages: Ummmm
Disadvantages: Ummmm

.... Its certainly action packed though, with plenty of bullets flying and explosions, although think “The A-Team” for the violent scenes and you have the quality of these. Of course, they aren’t really aided by an incredibly weak and frankly boring soundtrack from Randy Miller/Danny Elfman which is probably meant to be dark and brooding. Darkman III did hold my interest but only because I’m quite a fan of all these comic bok adaptations, but ultimately I was left wondering what the point of it all was, because it doesn’t seem to go anywhere or do anything to justify its existence. You think with a trilogy that there ought to be some advancement in plot from one movie to the next but here you learn nothing new about Westlake, his plight doesn’t change and if anything, it takes a step backwards. After 90+ minutes Westlake is alone, destined... Read review

Spiderman SUCKS
Review of Spiderman DVD by  deano_76

Advantages: None
Disadvantages: It got made, there's a sequel on the way

...for such classic films as The Evil Dead trilogy, Darkman, The Gift, and A simple plan. Spiderman, is without doubt the worst film he has ever made and the sequel due out this summer can’t possibly be any worse. You can buy a copy on DVD (If you’re silly enough to throw away your money) from most high street DVD and Video stores for around £20, Certificate 12 (probably because anyone younger than that would have more sense not to watch it) Oh, and I do believe that this opinion is the only one star review of Spiderman, it just shows how easily pleased some people are. In truth, I never fancied this film from the start but when I finally sat down to watch it, I really expected to be pleasantly surprised, I wasn’t. Thanks for the read. DEANO!... Read review
