DVD Description
The latest Marvel Comics superhero to hit the big screen is Daredevil (Ben Affleck), a man blinded by a radioactive chemical accident as a young boy but left with superhuman senses and agile acrobatic ability. Like his Marvel compatriot Spider-Man, Daredevil attempts to lead a normal life by day as Matt Murdock, a Hell's Kitchen defense attorney. By night Matt becomes Daredevil, a brooding superhero fighting for justice in the dark and squalid New York streets overrun with vermin and criminal injustice. Wearing a red leather suit and mask, Daredevil leaps from high skyscrapers and tracks his enemies with his radar-like vision, punishing those who are guilty but whom he cannot tackle in the courtroom. At the center of the city's villainous underbelly is Daredevil's nemesis Kingpin (Michael Clarke Duncan) and his psychotic, knife-wielding deputy-assassin Bullseye (Colin Farrell). Daredevil fights their powerful forces alone, until he meets Elektra Natchios (Jennifer Garner of ALIAS fame), a skilled martial artist and sexy superheroine who is after Bullseye and Kingpin for murdering her father. Sparks fly as the two heroes take on the underlords of crime together in this action-packed adventure fantasy that will surely delight fans of SPIDER-MAN, X-MEN, or BATMAN.

Advantages: Lots of Marvel heroes Disadvantages: Elektra is not a great film
...X Men
'X-men' follows the conflicts and struggles that mutants must face from mankind. Professor Charles Xavier is one such mutant that wishes to help mutants who are unable to understand their gifts. The villain of the story is Magneto, a very powerful mutant, who thinks that a war is approaching between man-kind and mutants. Stunning action and good performances all round....
X Men 2
X2 sees the mutant mansion invaded by a William Striker who has a personal vendetta against all mutants, and plots to destroy all of them. Magneto is back with a scheme of his own that involves the death of all mankind. It's up to our mutant hero's to save the day. Better than the first, the individual character stories are more in-depth and special effects have been stepped up enough to make this a cracking comic book movie.

Advantages: great acting Disadvantages: only fans will think its brilliant
...injuries in a church but bullseye follows him and they have a fight with great special effects because it s in the church and you see them fight on the massive tubes of the organ and there is another scene where bullseye throws loads of glass at daredevil which he evades by performing some Olympic standard gymnastics. Daredevil wins in the end after bullseye is shot by a sniper and daredevil throws him from the top of the church on to the street.
During the film daredevil finds out that all the crime in the part of the city he calls ‘hells kitchen’ were he lives is run by a man called the kingpin (Michael Clarke Duncan) who has all the power in the crime world and the money to match it. He finds out near the end of the film that kingpin was responsible for his father’s death so daredevil goes to find justice and has a fight with kingpin...

...used to fight like a devil) protecting the innocent and weak against the wrongdoers.
The soundtrack to Daredevil is excellent with new tracks written specially for the film from The Calling, Nickleback and many more, the best is from Evanescence.
It is a great movie to watch on the Friday/Saturday night, I would give it 6 or 7 out of 10....
