Danielle Lloyd is a British fashion and glamour model. Danielle was born on December 18th 1983 in London , England. In 2004 , Danielle was crowned Miss England in 2004 , and went on to compete in the 2004 Miss World. She was famous for dating the footballer Terry Sheringham who happened to be a judge on the Miss Great Britain panel ,although the couple have since split up. Danielle appeared on 2007's Celebrity Big Brother , where she was caught up in the race row between , Jade Goody , Jo O'Meara and Shilpa Shetty. Danielle is known for being a bit of a 'party girl'. She has appeared in many magazines and on television programmes , as well as making the fitness video I am about to review.
When I saw this DVD advertised I wasn't really a fan of Danielle. To be honest , I didn't really know that much about her , but after reading an interview with her about her fitness video in New magazine , I thought it looked like a really good video which did actually worked. I was also desperate to lose the few extra pounds I had gained over the Christmas period. So on my next shopping spree , I headed straight to Woolworths , in search for this DVD. I was quite surprised when I saw how much this DVD cost! Beings as it had only just been released at the time , it was at it's full price! I thought £17.99 was quite a lot for a fitness DVD. I picked up the DVD and studied it… The cover consists of Danielle posing in 'jog' mode in a black vest and black shorts. She looks really toned and healthy. The background is green with photos of her taking part in the workout. It did look really good and as I had planned on getting it , I didn't want to disappoint myself by not buying it after all. So in my basket I went. I was determined to make it work.
As soon as I arrived home from my shopping trip , although feeling tired , I was eager to give this DVD a go.
Danielle is joined by fitness instructor Steve Rich , who is a celebrity fitness instructor. I hadn't heard of him before , but I decided he must be good to be demanded by some of the top celebrities.
The DVD consists of a "warm up" , four dance sections , a boxing session and ends with a cool down.
I was quite disappointed with this DVD , especially as I had parted with £17 of my cash. It just wasn't what I expected. I expected it to be a workout with proper dancing , but it was not challenging enough and too little dancing for my liking. I expected this DVD to be fun but I found it boring and it really felt like I was doing a workout , not because it was challenging , but because there was nothing fun about it. There's nothing fun about it ; the workouts are dull and boring. Come to think of it , I don't even see that much of a difference between her 'now' and 'then' photos! I certainly didn't lose my Christmas pounds afterall , although I did lose £17 of the money I had received for Christmas! I think perhaps this video is best for beginners rather than fitness fanatics as it doesn't challenge you enough. I certainly wasn't impressed! Don't waste your money!

This one doesnt sound very good, but if you want a recommendation for a celebrity one that is very good I used to use the Elle McPherson The Body routine. It was excellent. I used it sporadically for about 5-6 years, and it really delivered results if you were prepared to make time 3-4 times a week. The trainer who works out with Elle is called Karen Voight and she was brilliant.
