This educational animated program explores the fascinating life of Daniel Boone, one of the world's best-known explorers. Richard Crenna (THE SAND PEBBLES) provides the voice of Boone, whose career as a trailblazer and hunter began at an early age. Born in the 1730s to an Englishman who came to America two decades before, Boone, a true adventurer, was given his first rifle at the age of 12. He went on to become a key player in the settlement of Kentucky. Where, hired to negotiate for the land with the Indians, he found himself in several difficult situations, including capture by the Shawnee tribe and the death of his son. DANIEL BOONE explores the way in which this iconic figure helped to shape American history.
Advantages: Brilliant, superb, astonishing drama series Disadvantages: Can be confusing
...Intro:

I've just finished watching Season 2 of Lost on Channel 4 and have to say that I'm more confused then ever, and can't wait for Season 3 to start next year. In the meantime I've been watching some of the Season 1 episodes on DVD and thought it would be a good time to review the first season of this amazing, confusing and at times brilliant drama series. Although it has its critics for me Lost is great entertainment and a great drama series, even if at times it can be very frustrating. For those of you not familiar with Lost, the premise is quite simple but gets more and more complicated as we delve deeper into the characters minds. Season 1 aired on Channel 4 in August 2005, with the first episode getting a massive 6 million viewers. Ratings have dipped as the episodes have progressed, but I am still a loyal Lost fan, even...

Advantages: a must of all stargate fans Disadvantages: price of dvd
...a must for all stargate fans. follow the story of sg-1 and become a part of there team. all the story lines are very good and don't follow the same area, unlike others. total running time of most dvd,s is approx 3hrs, which is good valve for money.
the stargate crew do not only face danger on off worlds, but also on earth, time after time they come to the aid of civilisations devastated by war and are
desperate for any help that they can get. but sometimes there help is not required or wanted, which leads the sg-1 into all sorts of problems.
o'neil and daniel are the back bones not only too the episodes but also the sg-1 with carter and teal'c making the crew. and together the crew works....

...as the next series arrives of extras, andy millian (ricky gervais), still a desperate man, may not have an acting career, however he now has a script for a new comedy and loads of ambition. however his useless agent (stephen merchant) is still holding him back from his dreams and only getting him extra work.
this second series of the award winning comedt, is just as funny as the first and featuring guest appearences form stars like, Orlando Bloom, David Bowie, Sir Ian Mckellen, Daniel Radcliffe, Chris Martin, Robert Lindsay, Robert De Niro and of course Barry from Eastenders.
it is definatly a really find.
