As a big fan of DM as a kid I just had to pick this up, and I wasn’t disappointed!
I suppose no-one is gonna think of buying a Danger Mouse DVD unless they are a fan but I implore you to do so. 80’s kids TV at it’s best (after He-man and Transformers!)

The DVD contains six episodes of DM and also the first episode of Count Duckula (remember him?) as an added bonus. So you get over two hours of classic animation for the bargain price of £9.99, which ain’t bad.

Superbly voiced by David Jason (DM) and others, this will take you back to a time when all you wanted was to get in from school and watch cartoons, and let’s face it, we all loved doing that!

All the episodes are good, the one with washing machine causing mayhem around London standing out as my favourite.

The DVD itself is nicely done, a lot better than you might expect.
The animated main menu (which is good in itself!) lets you pick from DM or Duckula (the respective theme tune blaring out in the background upon selection), a short ‘Worms’ clip from DM where Dangermouse meets some birds on a cliff and the character bios which gives you a short description of the principal characters (DM, Penfold, Baron Greenback et al).
So sit back and get ready to return to your youth as Dangermouse once more sets out from his Postbox to save the world!
Advantages: It's Dangermouse. What more do you need? Disadvantages: No voiceovers
This was a program that was on TV when I was rather young, and I had fond memories of it. When the DVD came out, I thought, why not?
The characters, first of all... We have Dangermouse, the best secret agent in the world, who lives in a pillar box in Mayfair. He is aided - and I use the term loosely - by Penfold, his sidekick. Dangermouse is given missions by Colonel K - these missions are generally to thwart the latest wile of the villainous Baron ... ...minute episodes, with four or five making up one adventure. There are six full adventures on this DVD, with a couple of extras (like the first ever Count Duckula episode - I never realised that Duckula was a spin off from Dangermouse until I got this DVD).
The episodes are wonderfully silly - Custard, for example, sees Baron Greenback plotting to cover the world with, er, instant custard. Dangermouse has to travel to a distant planet to retrieve ...

At 9.99 you can't lose, right?
Six episodes of the worlds greatest detective packed in with Count Dukula's first ever episode. Absolutely class.
Stories of exploding custard, stealing listening stations and killer washing machines are mixed with the humour that can only be found on "Dangermouse". And if that isn't enough David Jason does a voice in the series. If you are feeling like you want to relive your child hood, or just want to just get ...

DVD Description
For the first time ever, Danger Mouse (voiced by David Jason) and his silly sidekick, Penfold (voiced by Terry Scott), are on DVD. The eyepatch-wearing rodent and his bespectacled friend battle the toady Baron Greenback (voiced by Edward Kelsey) in six explosively entertaining animated episodes: "Custard," "Close Encounters of the Absurd Kind," "The Duel," "The Day of the Suds," "The Bad Luck Eye of the Little Yellow God," and "The Four Tasks of Danger Mouse."
