Well I have to say that I am a little biased with the fact I dont think I have found an Eddie Murphy film that I did not enjoy. This is a perfect movie for the entire family no matter what the age. I sat and watched this with my partner and we both really enjoyed it.
The basic storyline is that two work obsessed fathers loose there job, and are left at home with there kids. Being business men, they see an opportunity to make money by opening a day care center, but it is not as simple and they had first envisaged, learning how to deal with kids is hard enough, which is hilarious, but word has got around and more and more kids come.
This angers the only other daycare center owner in the area, who is very strict ,and a very bitter rivalry starts. Angelica Houston who played Morticia in "The Addams family", plays the principle of Chapman Academy, and is as you might expect brillant playing the merciless principle and does not let them away with opening 'daddy day care'.
Unconventional and highly amusing comedy, Eddie Murphy as always excells, but with jeff Garlin and Steve Zahn it is priceless . The movie is rated PG although, I would be happy to let my son watch it. The only violence in the film was completely comical and no worse than many cartoons.
A film you can watch again and again. Hope you find it as good as I did.

Good op. The film was ok but I would not rush to see it again. Jacqui

We watched this film and although I didn't mind paying to see it once, I wouldn't buy it on dvd/vhs. I enjoyed it as it made a change from his usual film type but a bit too cheesy and predictable for me:0)

Sounds pretty good. A little bit more information about the characters, plot and maybe memorable moments would help. Don't forget, presentation is everything. Let me know if you improve this review, I will happily read again and maybe re-rate.
