Fimbles ? Smelly Jelly
I have to admit that Fimbles are not one of my favourite children?s programmes though my daughter loves it so we decided to go and get her a DVD so when we wanted to watch something on the television, she could watch it happily on the laptop ? which she enjoys doing as its mummy?s laptop and she isn?t meant to touch it!
The Fimbles are Fimbo, Florrie and Baby Pom, who all live in a lovely, colourful place called Fimble Valley. The Fimbles are cuddly hippo like creatures each with lovely colourful ?skins?. Other characters in this programme include a blue tree frog called Rockit and a mole called Roly Mo, a pink bird called Bessie and her chick Ribble. Most of the other characters are essentially large puppets except the chick who is just a great ball of fluff with eyes stuck on it, unmoving in the main ...
Advantages: What did Marlone Brando like when he was young Disadvantages: Poor story for D-Day: 6th June
I think this double pack edition of D-Day and The Young Lions is only worth buying but only for The Young Lions. The DVD comes with no special features, no card inlay to tell you about the movies or anything else remotely resembling information except what is on the cover. But at around £6 in the shops what do you expect. I can't I rave about either film because they are not classics and both are stories set in the second world war but neither of then are really war movies.
The Young Lions - Marlon Brando - as younger, fitter model compared to his later movies (Godfather, and Apocalypse Now).
This film is very much the better out of the two - it has a story line vaguely linked to the second world war and there are a few more action scene (and more realistic than D-Day). Its a B&W film but this doesn't matter because we get to see ...
Advantages: entertaining, great length, good features, appealing natural comedy Disadvantages: sorry, if you're under 12, its a no-go!
made about this on Harry Hill, with many celebs stating 'Cataracts?' and then later 'Ear Cataracts?'. These guests have been suchlike: Loose Women, Jack P. Shepherd and Michelle Keegan, Richard and Judy, Noel Edmonds and a large variety more. There was also reference to Billie Piper in Mansfield Park, and quite a long clip of her role. That made my day!
This part lasts for an hour, which is equivalent to two full-length episodes. There is so much humour packed into such a short space of time, it us unreal! Halfway through, we get the imfamous 'FIGHT!'. This is when Hill debates what will win in a fight. This varies from show to show, and has included things such as a Mars Bar and a Chop, two coloured mice, and Phil Mitchell and Mr Blobby! I'll let you find out what it is in this DVD for yourself! After the hour was up, I felt I couldn ...
