...I've bought 2 Xena box sets and a single DVD of the final episode and I thing they're all great, the advantages of the box sets being that you can get all you favourite episodes in one go and have fun with a Xena marathon. I bought the Season Three Box set one, Season Five box set one and the Final episode directors cut. Both the box sets had my favourite episodes from my favourite seasons, epsiodes such as "The Debt parts 1 & 2" in the S3 set and "Purity", "Back in the Bottle" in the S5 set makes up the entire "Chin" storyline. Plus great S5 eps such as "Chakram", "Lyre, Lyre Hearts Afire" and "Little Problems" make the box sets a great deal. The Season Finale directors cut, is a stand-alone release and features the last two eps as a tv-movie and has great special features such as commentaries from directors and cast, image... Advantages: Cheaper by the dozen
Disadvantages: Maybe classed as geek

...After making extra space on the shelf, I put Series 7 up along with the rest, I smile knowing that all is good. 1 Box, 6 Disks, 22 episodes. I paid £49.99 in HMV and got there last one, then spent about 18 hours in front of the telly, with pizza -meat feast if you wanna know. Each individual dvd is normally just under £20 so 20 x 6 =120 Save quite a bit, and you get a cool box. Series 7 is another thrilling part of the Stargate ride. Daniel Jackson (Michael Shanks) has returned to SG-1 after being acended. Richard Dean Anderson is again Amazing as the the lead Character Col. Jack O'niell (Two l's) And gets the ancients knowledge downloaded in his head again. and there is another Jack O'niell now Amanda Tapping plays Major Samantha Carter. is the brillient scientist/Military person who is in love with Jack her CO Christopher Judge... ...Finally it has arrived! family guy seasons 1-5 in one handy boxset. i doubt that i need to say that family guy is probably one of the funniest and most well writeen shows to grace television in a long time. The combination of enjoyable stories, cut aways and one liners have succeeded in making this one of the most popular dvds of the last 10 years. With a barage of lovable characters such as "peter griffin" "stewie" "brian" "cleveland" and "quagmire" and a good sense of adult humour this series will have you occupied for hours upon end. One thing about buying all the family guy dvds in one go is that you might get tempted to watch them in the wrong order. i highly suggest that you begin at the start with series one so you can see how family guy has developed over the years otherwise theres the risk of not being able to fully appreciate...
