space...CURSE OF THE FLY is the third installment of the science fiction series that began with the classic The Fly. The film's plot again revolves around the Delambre family, although this time it is the original scientist's son, Henri Delambre (Brian Donlevy), who becomes obsessed with transporter experiments to the dismay of his two sons, who want to live normal lives and forget about their grandfather's invention. Henri's oldest son, Martin (George Baker), marries a young woman - who has just escaped from a mental hospital - against Henri's wishes. Henri knows that outside interests will detract from their scientific research. After Martin's new wife discovers a closet filled with deranged humans left over from failed teleportation experiments, the police are called and Henri attempts to flee using the infamous transporter. Unfortunately for the mad scientist, the transporter still doesn't have the bugs worked out.

Advantages: The opening is impressive, Christina Ricci provides a good performance. Disadvantages: The film is terrible, everything about it disappoints.
...From the master of horror comes 'Cursed'. Wes Craven brought us 'The Hills Have Eyes' in 1977, 'A Nightmare on Elm Street' in 1984, the 'Scream' series in the 90s, and then in 2005 his directorial talent welcomed 'Cursed' to the world. Before watching this film I was greatly excited, I'm a huge fan of Wes Craven and love all his previous films I have mentioned here. He's a great director, an expert in the creation of tension and suspense. As 'Cursed' began I started to think he'd done it again. The opening is powerful, it gripped me, and then the film unfolds.
Set in Los Angeles, Ellie and her brother Jimmy are driving home one evening when an animal unexpectedly smashes against the windscreen. They swerve and crash into another car, knocking it off the road in the process. It's a scary situation for them and they pull over...

Advantages: It's short, a few nice effects Disadvantages: Disjointed, lacks direction, no scares, watered down cut
...Back in 1996 Wes Craven took a Kevin Williamson script and made Scream. The movie was a big success and opened the floodgates for a whole new batch of horror films, some good, a lot bad.
In 2005 the writer and director re-united to once again put a sly spin on the genre with an all-knowing werewolf movie called Cursed. This time the golden hand that touched Scream would be replaced by one riddled with arthritis and very dry skin. Take a glance at any review for the movie and each one of them will mention the numerous production problems this shoot encountered. Half way through shooting the movie, production was halted and the script was re-written. This meant cast members dropped out, characters were removed, complete scenes lost and new ideas thrown in.
The end result is a complete mess of incoherent plot, blandness and generally...

...****Film Only Review****
Cursed was released back in 2005, directed by Wes Craven, who also directed one of my favourite horror films, "Scream". Having loved scream, I thought I would give this a go.
Plot
-----
The story follows siblings Jimmy and Ellie who are accidently infected by a werewolf after they get scratched by one while trying to free a girl trapped in a car from an accident they had caused. They lost their parents in a car crash a few years ago, and live alone together. A good start! They start to notice changes in their bodies and behaviour, and after a bit of research, discover that not all myths are false.
They have to cut the blood line to be freed from a life as a werewolf, but they do not know who turned them, or who they are really in danger of. Throughout all this we also learn that Jimmy is trying to...
