Advantages: Larry David is a very funny character
Disadvantages: Can be EXTREMELY offensive (but then that's part of its charm)

...and an edge to it. CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM certainly fits that category and certainly wouldn't be to everyone's taste, but it certainly fits mine. Larry seems to get himself into somewhat uncomfortable positions with alarming regularity whether he likes it or not. When I first happened upon this show in a late night slot on BBC4 I was somewhat bemused. I had never heard of it and wondered if maybe it was actually a documentary or a fly on the wall type of Big Brother thing.
