...instructor. Dre drags along Sidney to the restaurant where Reese and the guy are, and makes a huge scene, and then says that he wants a divorce from Reese then Sidney drags him off by his ear. Literally.
They go back to Sidney's flat and Dre seduces Sidney and they up sleeping together. Sidney conscience soon catches up with her and realises that Dre is still married (but estranged), and she is soon to be married, and she's just slept with her best friend (I think their a bit more then friends now ;) ). In the end Sidney gives back Kelby's ring but is too stubborn to admit that she's in love with Dre. So Dre decides to ask her to go out with him and drives to the recording studio, where shes having an interview and he goes old skool and writes on a piece of paper with a yes box, a no box and a maybe box. And well, the rest is history...

Advantages: Wholesome Entertainment for Pre-Teens Disadvantages: Too Cheesy for the Masses
...In this movie Amanda Bynes plays Sydney White, a girl going off to college with the ambition of following in her mother's footsteps. Her mother was a member of a popular sorority. Peter Lorre role as Joe Carlo was a person who was hoping to find the Falcon first and sell it to the highest bidder, and happy to get it at any means. Again this is in the book, but more strongly hinted at, that Joe Carlo maybe gay, but this was missing from the film, again maybe cause of the censors of the time.
Sydney Greenstreet who plays Mr Gutman is the real villain of the film. His screen image lives up to the name of Mr Gutman, and there a hardness to him under a false jolly image. This man would go to any lengths...
