I am a Telly Addict. I'll admit it, it's my life. What's more, I love anything that has me in stitches. So what better than to combine two of my favourite things and come up with an amazing show?! Harry Hill's TV Burps is a comedy show, presented by Harry Hill, which airs every on and off on ITV1. He also writes the script for the show too, which must result in him non-stop working. It first started in 2001 when Hill was just 37, and has been a success for the last eight years now. Each episode, Hill takes us on a journey to look back at that weeks' television, and everything comic about it. Often, there is a celebrity guest appearing in the audience-filled studio, to bring the entertainment and laughter to a peak. Now we can enjoy this magic on a DVD!
For Christmas I had asked for Harry Hill's TV Burp Gold DVD, however I did not ...

One of my daughters' favourite books has always been 'Guess How Much I Love You?' by Sam Bratney because it is such a cute story. That is why, when we spotted another of his books - It's Lovely when you Smile - at the local library we just had to book it out. We were so pleased that we did because it is just as sweet, cute and loveable as the other and is also bound to become a favourite! The only problem is that I think the girls are going to object when we have to return it so I will probably have to go out and buy it!

Advantages: good acting, direction Disadvantages: a bit too long, not many extras
you are soon pulled back in by some shoxking Electric chair execution scenes that gove this film an '18' certificate.
The acting is excellent from all the cast with a lot of good suporting players. Hanks as always is solid but this is Clarke Duncan's film. You may know him as the larger than life black man from Armageddon. Well here he really shows he can act and deserved his Oscar nomination. On watching this film and the other actors performances in his catagory I have to say that he was better than the winner Micheal Caine.
The film clocks in at a little over 3 hours at at times it's a struggle. With 30 mnutes cut out this could have been perfect as there is some unecessary scenes in the final cut. However it's still a sold drama that has a some real emotional moments like Shawshank before it.
The dvd is presented in 1 ...
