Great film, loved it from the introduction accompanied by Placebo's 'Every You, Every Me' to the final scene of Reese Witherspoon (Legally Blonde 2) speeding down the highway in an irresistable jaguar.
Very up to date adaptation to dangerous liasons, but still deemed more of a 'teen movie' rather than a drama or romance as some critics would list it under. I feel this is becuase the film is awash with good looking actors who get caught up in a strange circle of sexual relations down to a bizarre bet between step brother and sister.
Great performances from stunning actors/actresses, including Ryan Phillippe (Gosford Park) Christine Baranski (Cybil) a gay Joshua Jackson (Dawsons Creek) and lesbian kiss with Sarah Michelle Gellar (Buffy) and Selma Blair (Legally Blonde)
This film deals with many contreversial real life events faced by teenagers and all ages, including, homosexuality, racism, virginity, sex, teen death and many more.
Overall very enjoyable, would recommend for a girls' night in or just as an easy watching film for anytime of the day/night.
