When I first heard that there was a Cruel Intentions 2, I just had to see it. As the first Cruel Intentions was brilliant I wondered what this one would be like so I went and rented it out.

HERE IS A LITTLE ABOUT EACH CHARACTER

Kathryn........ (Amy Adams) filthy rich who's obsessed wih seducing everyone and destroying people who dont look right. She's the sudent body president and the most popular girl in her school, she can have any boy she wants.

Sebastian....... (Robin Dunne) he's Kathryn's stepbrother, who has gotten kicked out of his other schools so he has to go and live with his father who is married to Kathryn's mother. He wants to move on from his past but it changes as Kathryn finds out the truth about him.

Danielle......... (Sarah Thompson) the head masters daughter, she acts all innocent and gets Sebastian to fall for her. But he soon finds out what she is really like.

Cherrie...........(Keri Lynn Pratt) total dork, she's rich and Kathryn doesnt like her bu she wants to transform Cherrie and make her more like her. Cherrie hangs around with Danielle and she really likes Kathryn.

(THE STORY)

When Sebastian is kicked out of another private school because of his reputation he makes his headmaster change his school record. He goes to live with his father in New York as he has no where else to go as his mother is ill.

He heads off to New York, as his faher has remarried his stepmother Tiffany is rich and her daughter Kathryn is a tart. When Sebastian gets there he cant get his head round all the servants that are their and how much allowance he gets. He plans to forget about his past and put it behind him.

The first day of school for Sebastian, he goes to see the headmaster. While he's waiting he see's a pretty girl sitting in ther chair, he tells her how beautiful she is and then gets called in to the headmasters office.

In walks Danielle the girl he called beautiful, he didnt realise that she was the headmasters daughter, but they get to know each other and they fall in love.

Kathryn isint happy as Sebastian is better than her, so she gets her friends to help her out and tries to seduce him. While he is in the shower she sends in twins to join him but that doesnt work as he is hooked on Danielle. Kathryn has to be friendly to Cherrie so her mother will fund money to the school, they go horse riding and Kathryn teaches her stuff.

When Kathryn finds out about Sebasians past she tells him that he cant move on that they would be suited together, he tells her no and then goes to Danielle's.

Sebastian calls at Danielle's door and while thay are talking in her room, she opens up her wardrope door and Kathryn is there, Sebastian looks shocked and Danielle and Kathryn start kissing, then they tell him that he can join them if he wants.

When Sebastian is in the car driving to school he is opening a parcel from Danielle its the famous journal that is a big part of the first cruel intentions, she leaves him a note telling him that he will now have something to write about. I wont tell you what happens after that but you should get this film out to see what happens in the end.

Cruel Intentions was far better than this one but only for these reasons:
1. Ryan Phillippe, Joshua Jackson and Sarah Michelle Gellar where in it
2. The actors/actresses where a whole lot better and Sarah Michelle Gellar made played the part of Kathryn better and Ryan Phillippe played Sebastian better.

I did enjoy this film, and it was worth watching, but Cruel Intention will always remain my favourite film.

Cruel Intentions 1 is one of my favourite movies too! I read your op, and thanks for not telling us what happens in the end because I'm gonna try to get hold of a copy! One thing though, this movie doesn't carry on from the 1st one because Seb is dead... right? Guess I'll have to watch it to find out :)

After reading your opinion, i just had to see the film, however i thought i was really bad, and no way near as good as the first. When talking about what was bad about the film i think you forgot to mention, that a) It had a rubbish story and b)it was not even good enough to be called a sequel.
