why oh why does the nice guy have to die at the end of these films i love all these films, this one has a rugged story line but the layout and casting are brilliant, music is heart felt actresses are so right for this film, older warrior trying to steer the young rogue into the right direction, also at the same time trying to keep her emotions for lee mu bai at bay. So a forbidden love is kept still by tradition. Yet another love is cursed, the thief and the rogue daughter of a soon to be arranged marriage is defiant against their wishes and her destiny to be a free spirit. But then the film is confusing why does she jump off at the end, does her lovers wish come true or does she die?

I see you've posted this as a DVD review, but you've not mentioned the DVD. Are there any extras? If so, what are they and are they any good? If you add to this, or if you change it to be posted as a "Film Only" review, which can be done by accessing "edit review" above the review and changing the drop down menu under the "Which format are you reviewing?" question at the bottom, please let me know and I'll re-rate.
