I saw Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, and after writing a review about a completely different film by mistake in this place, I thought I'd better correct my mistake.
Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon is a beautiful film set in ancient China. I get the impression that this film could be about a legend, because there are a lot of moments in the film clearly using wires. This is very well done however, and if you keep an open mind, you'll realise that it is not how these people jump from trees and rooftops and walk on water that is important.
Aside from the superhuman Kung-Fu, there are scenes and moments within scenes that represent real, possible (with training) Kung'Fu. These fight sequences are well choreographed, even better than the Kung-Fu sequence in The Matrix!!
To be honest, the story is weak, and there is a very dull spot half way through the film where one of the characters has a memory / dream of her past. This bit doesn't contain the action and adventure I wanted from the film.
This weakness is far outweighed by the rest of the film, and the soundtrack, and the acting!!
