Unfortunately, there aren't any extras with the DVD - a shame, because I would have liked an insight into how the idea for the film came about and how the French and Americans worked together. There is a very brief blooper section as the credits are playing at the end, but that is all.
I was really surprised by this film and think it deserves to be a lot better known, not hidden away in bargain bins! The humour is great and I found myself laughing out loud all the way through. And with all the big names, it really is surprising it isn't better known. If you manage to get hold of a copy, then it really is worth a watch, particularly if you like light-hearted thrillers. Recommended.
The DVD is available from play.com for £4.99, but it is worth looking out for it in Poundland.

Advantages: Thought provoking, quirky Disadvantages: Not as funny as its made out to be
Recently purchased this DVD and decided to write a review, although it was released a good few years ago.
I Heart Huckabees is not at all what I expected it to be, although I did still enjoy it. Personally, i dont remember much advertising for the film when it was released in 2004, but from the DVD cover and summary I thought it would be a light-hearted comedy, similar to a "chick-flick",.

The detectives begin following Albert's every move in an attempt to prove that the coincidences are ...
Advantages: Tries to make Courtroom Drama appeal to a wider audience Disadvantages: It fails due to bad direction and a weak script
I’ve always found books and films based on courtroom Drama’s to be quite interesting. I’m a huge fan of Grisham’s novels and absolutely love films like “Rules Of Engagement”. So when I heard about “High Crimes” I decided this would be a good choice for Saturday evening viewing. I was also swung by the fact Morgan Freeman was one of the leads. This led me to believe it could be an alright film as he doesn’t normally do bad films.
As far as the plot goes it’s not too complicated to follow. Claire Kubik (Ashley Judd) is a big time Lawyer working for a top law firm and is about to make partner. That is until her Husband (Jim Caviezel) is arrested by the US Military for alleged crimes he committed some 10 years earlier. He is being charged with the murder of 10 villagers after ...
