Today, on a short trip to Bristol Cribs Causeway ( The Mall ) with a short list of one DVD to buy...Now when i arrived at HMV, there was a little deal going on, 3 for £20, and i though to myself, 1 DVD for £7.99 or 3 for £20. So, my original list was Creep, and i came out of the shop with Creep, House of Wax and the Bridget Jones's Diary box set *smiles gleefully* - So to cut a long story short, im watching "creep" this very second and im scared, although im not actually sure what i hell is happening, its quite crazy, and unexplainable...
[[..>Plot<..]]
Basically, this German woman wants to go and chat up George Clooney and goes for the last underground train because her friend forget to tell her she was leaving - arriving at the underground station she meets some homeless people who end up fighting for their lives literally - the German woman is not actually called the German woman of course, her name is Kate. When she arrives at the Underground station, she happens to have this tiny bottle of what i can only assume is Vodka - The STUPID woman she is, drinks it and falls asleep and misses her train - locked in, all alone, well that what she thinks. when she wakes up and train pulls up and she stupidly gets on...i think you get the picture, as i dont want to ruin the story if you haven't already seen it - I dont think that this film, worked as well as i would have hoped, but still very good, my reasons for this, being that they introduced the "monster" too early and should have carried out the suspense longer, and they really should have made the creature and human, because that would have been more, scary as it would make you think, " oh my GOD, this could actually happen..." and although the film had its moment, the high pitched Yelps from the monster had me weeping with laughter not fright...

[[..>My Opinion<..]]
Basically, i think the performance of Franka Potente (Kate) was extraordinary, seeming as though she is basically in every scene, and half of it on her own - i think that this film has so many good quality's, but it has some bad ones as well...like when Kate was seeing all of the murder victims, she didn't really act although she was shocked, at all, she was just like, " ohhh, ahhh why are you killing her? ooooo a chocolate bar...(he he - sorry she doesn't actually say a chocolate bar, that was me being sarcastic)"
This film is worth a Watch, but i can't see myself watching it again really, because you know what happens and the suspense is gone, and you know everything its just loses its thrill...but the first time you watch it, expect so just and jolts, because it has that noise that automatically makes you jump - and if you end up buy/watching this film, watch out for the where the lights turn out and the face appears, i had to turn it off and make a cup of tea, i though i would have a heart attack !!!
[[..>Conclusion<..]]
i dont think we need one of these, okay we will have one, watching this film once because it is really good but you will probably agree with me, because from the reviews of other people who watched this film, they have the same views, but i still felt the need to watch it even from the appalling reviews from people, which are mostly exaggerated, but they are their opinions so i wont judge them - so thank you for taking the time to read my review, post a Comment if you wish and leave a rating , thank you bye bye xx
Schnappi xx :D
p.s i just put this on word, and spell checked it and i made lots of mistakes so i advise you all to do the same :) bye bye xx

Nice review, i love this film. The part where he "operates" on that tramp woman is a bit gruesome. But thats what i like. Quite a mix of DVDs you bought from HMV!!

Advantages: Cushing and Lee at the height of their horrific powers. Splendid story. Excellent direction. Disadvantages: The creature when fully revealed, but isn't on screen that long anyway.
