Bepop, hence the name of the title. What's interesting about them is the fact that you don't have any idea about their pasts or who they are, you sorta just get thrown into the action.
The series follows the exploits of these two guys. And as they go through the expanses of space, they try to hunt down fugitives in order to sustain living the life of a "cowboy". Along the way, they meet up with a voluptuous female gambler, Faye Valentine, with an equally shadowy (and once you find out, quite lucrative) past, and a very kooky and just plain funny female hacker known as "Ed". Oh, and by the way, they sorta come across a really intelligent dog, a welsh corgie to be precise, known as "Ein".

significant role than Jet, but the script could of easily have been adjusted to be watched without them at all (they arethe ones who lead Faye into finding Vincent).
You can tell a massive amount of time and effort was put into animating and bringing this movie to life. The illusion of movement is extremely realistic (especially during the intro, that was amazing how they animated that). True that as a Japanese animation some things were exaggerated, but overall they made the illusion of gravity, applied the laws of physics extremely well. The fluid motion also requires it to all be clear and sharp. This is important since it is going to be on DVD (I got the video tape but its a very high quality video tape) so if there are any discrepencies then you'll see it.

He rarely speaks and mumbles all the time. Mr Bean the original used used body language as apposed to words, to deliver the major portion of his dialog. He also brought out a full length film in 1997 entitled ''Bean The Ultimate Disater Movie'', so having mastered both the big and small screen how else could they 'milk' Rowan's genius character... Well animation of course. What other way to perfectly destroy what was done and dusted in the 90's. I personally think the film was good but in parts was pushing the unique Mr Bean character.
