Music Hall Days
Review of Music Hall Days (DVD) by  Martinscholes

Advantages: Great DVD
Disadvantages: None

...Music Hall Days is a truly wonderful DVD programme. It is released through Green Umbrella and is presented by Lionel Blair. The programme was filmed at the headquarters of the Grand Order of Water Rats, at the Grays Inn Road, London. The programme starts by shoeing some sombre shots of old closed down music halls. Crumbling ruins and demolition sites are their fate, now. The music halls, the implication was, will never come back. But as Lionel Blair points out, "we still have the songs of music hall." And, fortunately, many of the acts were captured on film. As Blair points out, there is more to music hall than "just" singing. Music hall encompassed all sots of acts, from "dancing to juggling." Everyone loves the Count
Review of Count Duckula - The Complete Second Series (DVD) by  joe-survey

Advantages: 17 fantastic episodes
Disadvantages: No DVD extras

...Meets Franken Duckula's Monster ..." Duckula tries to flee from a monster Igor created, Dr von Goosewig, some village folk, a werewolf, a mummy and an alien disguised as a cabbage. Lost City of Atlantis Duckula becomes stranded on a very small island and finds the lost city of Atlantis, whose people capture him. Bad Luck Duck Duckula has bad luck when he tries to disprove Nanny's superstitious fears of Friday the 13th. Overall This is a great DVD for all ages. Whether bought for young children's entertainment or parent's nostalgia. I've always loved the count since i first saw it on TV and although i don't watch it quite so often i still find time to. I would recommend this seeing as it has so many episodes. One downside is it doen't have any DVD extras, but to be honest, who needs them. Thanks... Read review

...I love Christmas time. The tree , the presents , the snow , Christmas songs , jolly moods and the delicious food…but without one thing...Christmas is incomplete. There has to be Christmas movies! One of my favourite Christmas films is Deck The Hall. I bought this DVD a few weeks back to get me in the mood for the ever-so-fast approaching festive season. The DVD cost me £5.99 from play.com Deck The Halls is an American family comedy film. It was released in the United Kingdom on the first of December 2006. The movie was directed by John Whitesell. Running time of the movie is ninety three minutes. Steve Finch wants his kids to have the best ever Christmas. So when his daughters discover My Earth (which is the same as Google Earth I suppose) , they find out that their house is missing from the map that shows up everything from... Read review
