This winter sport comedy is the only one of its kind. Starting of in the hot island of jamaica, a star 100 metre sprinter sets up a bob sleigh team. This includes his friend Sanka( a soap box driving champion), Junior (another 100 metre sprinter), and reluctant team member Yul. After some vigourous(hilarious) training in the outbacks of jamaica they go to canada, to take part in the 1988 winter olympic games. This film has some really funny bits in which will make you fall off your seat and some parts just make you cringe. there are some bits in this movie that are a bit misplaced and dont really need to be there but in general its a good film. It also has acting legend "john candy" playing as the team coach. He is well fitted for the part and i found him very funny.
the whole film takes 98 minutes. The age range is wide and would stretch from 5-50 if not older and younger. This film has a hybrid of genres: adventure, action, comedy, sport and family.
