This is one of my fav movies of all. I owned this video from a young age and i am still amused by it. The film is directed by Jon Turteltaub

My fav character has to be SANKA do you wana kiss my lucky egg. He is such a funny character and i love him to bits
It is based on the true story of the First Jamacian bobsled team trying to make it to the winter olympics
The story starts off with Derice Bannock, junior, Yul competing in the 100m race to go to the olympics which is their dream. After a terrible accident during the race, their dream is lifted out from under their feet.
Derice trys all to compete again but is not so lucky!!! He then discovers that his father friend Ivring Blitzer is living on the island.(Irving Blitzer disgraced himself when putting extra weights into his team's sleigh in the Olympics, resulting in his gold medal being taken away from him.)
He decides that he will go to the olympics maybe not as a runner but as a Jamaican bobsledder.
He sets out to find his other team member he convinces his friend Sanka whoes as push cart driver and who doesnt realise that bobseighings on "ICE" The other two members are found Junior and Yul who were the other 2 runner who didnt succed into the olymics. Yul is a very large and aggressive man who doesnt like to be touched " DONT TOUCH ME" There is a lot of tention between the group at first. The coach "irv" finally agrees to coach them.
They finally raise the money to head to CALGARY.
It was not all what they thought it would be. Firstly is "very cold" Secondly no one can take a Jamaican bobsledding team with their cheating coach for serious.
We see a lot unravel with many ups and downs. We follow the team through the olympics while events unfold
This is a very hard hitting comedy, which is all very real
The ending is very sad but thoughtprovoking, but very entertaining. IS A MUST SEE
Its a FAMILY COMEDY so suitable for the whole family.
This is a very heart warming film that will have to laughting, crying and even KISSING THE LUCKY EGG You must see it to know what i am going on about.
