Advantages: foster and hopkins-terrific Disadvantages: i don't think so.
...well, i've seen silence of the lambs with jodie foster and anthony hopkins as hannibal lechter. i can say it was an excellent movie and i'm sure that the sequel will be quite exciting. i'm sure fans of hannibal would like to see him. i know this is oscar gold. so if you can, see silence of the lambs on video and go see hannibal. so i'm off to see the film again. ta-ta. and when you do see the sequel to silence of the lambs,be sure that you are not squemish, doctor lechter would be very unhappy. take care and enjoy the movie....

...THE SILENCE OF THE LAMBS (18)
Nasty 'Ol Hannibal the Cannibal is called upon to assist the police in the hunt for a serial killer. Anthony Hopkins won an Oscar for his performance as Hannibal Lector and he thouroughly deserved it. He is utterly menacing and nasty (especially he uses a guy's face as a method of escaping - ugh!). Jodie Foster is also good as the trainee inspector called upon to talk to Hannibal. Very dark and unnerving, this film is not for the faint hearted.
8 out of 10...

Advantages: scary Disadvantages: not for faint hearted
...This DVD is not for the faint hearted or those scared easily however if you enjoy being scared this film is perfect for you as it provides blood and gore also no matter how many times you watch it you will always be scared as i have seen this film many times and i still get scared at certain points. it is by far the best horror film for 15's and overs. Mary shaw was brutally murdered and seeks revenge on those who murdered her by taking their tounges so that she can talk as when she was murdered her toungue was cut out.
there are also special features such as deleted scenes, the making of dead silence, evolution of a VFX, mary shaw's secrets, alternate opening, alternate ending....
