This is a very funny film, sarky and witty. Eddie Murphy shows just what a talented comedien he is and Steve Martin is triumphant. ...a self titled 'business' called Bowfinger International Movies, despite having never made a movie to date. Bowfinger proceeds to arrange a meeting with his clientele. After failing to persuade a director, or Kit Ramsey to work on his project, the group continue to make the film on their own, taking hidden footage of Kit whilst about his day to day business. American Dreamz is the sort of movie that could potentially be very funny. Note that word potentially. Directed by Paul Weitz who also directed About a Boy and American Pie, this movie is set around a popular American reality TV show. I saw the trailers for this and thought it looked good, but I never seem to get round to seeing things at the cinema and ended up getting this on DVD instead. ~The Plot~ The story revolves around the biggest TV show ...

...month ago, having never watched Gavin and Stacey before, but I decided to give it a go! Oh my gosh I am so glad I bought it! I ended up and sitting and watching the whole series in one evening, I just couldn't turn it off!
