Advantages: Great story, hilarious, VERY entertaining

Bridget Jones was a mere fictional character reated by the author Helen Fielding until the year 2001 when she also came alive on our screens courtesy of Renee Zellweger. The first film version of the novel was a runaway success at the box office, and so followed the second film, based on the 2nd book Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason. I has read the book and loved it, it's so much better than the first book but they took too much out of the film. ...everyone (female) who has watched Bridget Jones's Diary has felt that they can relate to Bridget. Bridget's character is just so normal , that you just can't help having something in common with her , and that is why I feel is the reason why the film was such a huge success at it's time of release. Disadvantages: I am jealous of Bridget having a choice of dishy men!

...by far the best. Bridget Jones is a single 30 year old woman who has had not much luck in love. The film starts of with Bridget waking up on new years day and deciding to make a diary. In this diary she details things like lose weight, find a nice sensible boyfriend etc etc. This will be familiar for many women and i'm sure many of us can relate to her. The problem with bridget though is she likes to do all of the things which are no good for her, ...
...say that at the end Bridget achieves some of what she set out to in her diary and discovers that sensible boys can also be quite appealing. This is a laugh out loud film, it truly is.
