Struck By The Moon
Review of Moonstruck (Wide Screen) by thefunkyboi

Advantages: Cher at her best
Disadvantages: Out dated a little

After all this time I thought it best to write a review of some sort, so here I am. I was only 2 years old when this first came out, but I love Cher and this is one of her best movies! A romantic farce set in New Yorks Little Italy, but totally free of the mafia, and criss crossing several couples who all seem to be effected by a huge full moon. A young widow, (Cher), accepts a proposal, but falls for her fiance's estranged brother, the loving couple ...
...his wife finds herself dinning with a man who has just been jilted by his young student, just as he was before in an incident witnessed by the young widow...... Atlthough director Norman Jewison and the films music rather overdo the amore and Italian openess. Still, there are winning performances from Cher, (Oscar winner), Nicholas cage, as the hairy ape who sweeps her off her feet, and Olympia Dukakis and Vincent Garcia as her parents. A little ... Windbag The Sailor
Review of Will Hay - Windbag The Sailor DVD by Maximus-Qualitus

Advantages: Very Funny
Disadvantages: None

Will Hay - Windbag the Sailor. This film stars Will Hay, Moore Marriott and Graham Moffatt. All 3 together, making this a cracking film. Introduction: ************* Windbag The Sailor was the first teaming of Will Hay, Moore Marriott and Graham Moffatt. The trio would go on to make Oh Mr Porter! And Ask a Policeman, my two favourites and many more films. Synopsis: ********** Captain Ben Cutlet is a story teller at his local bar; he tells ...
...to take the blame. But Will gets wind of the plan and after escaping being tied up he and his two cohorts end up on a life raft all at sea. The mutinous crew try to scupper the ship and take to their lift boats but the ship stays afloat. Will and the boys regain the ship, capture the crew and sail home. Opinions: ********** With the great trio at its heart this film is easy on the eye. The jokes are simple and enjoyable. A nostalgic comedy ... Read review

It only hurts when I laugh!
Review of Happy Gilmore DVD by bonsi6337

Advantages: Sandler's performance and comedic talent
Disadvantages: None

...flicking through the channels and Happy Gilmore was just about to start on one of the Sky Movie channels. So we decided that we needed a good laugh and settled down on the sofa to watch Sandler's genius at work. You can get this on Amazon UK for as little as £2.98 brand new. As always, my advice would be to shop around. If you don't mind buying a second hand copy, I'm sure Ebay would have some really cheap bargains to be had as well! ***Synopsis*** ...

The next morning, he gets a call from his beloved Grandma (Frances Bay) and races to her house to see what is wrong. Well, she has ... Read review
