Another masterpiece from the lads. John Clease, Michael Palin, Eric Idle, Graham Chapman, Terry Jones and Terry Gilliam star in this epic adventure in search for the holy grail. The opening credits feature a multitude of llama's who have contributed to the films production with cool flashing colours. Advantages: Best Monty Python film ever

This was the first Monty Python movie I ever saw, years after my dad told me about the hilarious scene involving Mr. Creosote, and it remains my favourite Monty Python film. ...It's also the last Monty Python film, which is definitely unfortunate as they were only getting better and better. I think the main reason this film is my favourite is the fact it does not stay on one person or general topic. It feels quite random as it moves through life, from birth to life in school, and onwards through things such as the 'autumn years' and finally death and a visit to the afterlife. Not so much a movie as The Life of Brian, or The Holy Grail, its more of a series of hilarious sketches, portraying people in everyday life situations, from the moments of conception, (The Sacred Sperm Sketch) is on of the best of the entire film, to a final meeting with the Grim Reaper, ...
...this hilarious last full length Monty Python movie. Laughs abound from the usual team of:- John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, Terry Jones, Michael Palin and Graham Chapman . All in all a real good piece of British humour at its best. Running time 86 minutes. I've only hired the DVD so this is a film only review. Advantages: Hilarious, great extras, funny everytime you watch it

I have loved Monty Python since seeing Monty Python's flying circus years ago, so when I saw this collector's edition dvd box set of 'Monty Python and the Holy Grail' for sale in HMV I couldn't resist buying it. (and I love it even more now that Michael Palin was an honorary graduate at my graduation and I stood about five feet away from him! ...this film. All of the Monty Python cast are hilarious. It is not a serious film in the slightest and I find it very easy watching. There are also some songs throughout the film which are really well written with silly lyrics and catchy tunes. My favourite bit in the film is when all of the knights pretend to be riding along on their horses whilst their servants make horse noises with coconuts. It's so ridiculous.
