PARTY TIME, EXCELLENT

I know this is an ancient film, but while looking through Sky Anytime, the tv on demand kind of thing on Sky+ and Sky HD boxes I saw they had this. I have watched this film loads of times years ago, and thought it was funny then, but would it be any good now - 17 years after it was made? Max and Paddy's Power of two workout

Advantages: Funny in parts
Disadvantages: Rubbish workout

...comedy. Were big fans of max and paddy and most things peter kay has done but not this. In its defence there are a couple of funny moments but these are few and far between, and if your using this as a workout dvd the jokes will not be funny at all the 2nd time round. My advise is to stay away from this one. ...

Advantages: Witty, fast paced, classic
Disadvantages: A little cliched

Advantages: Good roles played by the characters
Disadvantages: Shoddy editing and camerawork

For a movie generated from the Amerindie algorithm of family dysfunction, road-trip catharsis and studied quirk, this dark-edged ensemble comedy often borders on the loveable – as if a long-division problem had somehow become self-aware and started pining for a heart, a brain and some nerve.
