i have two different opinions on this film.
my first opinion is considering it is suppose to be a comedy, half way through the film when john beckwith (owen Wilson) falls in love with the Us secretary of treasury (christopher walken) 's Daughter, it becomes more of a complicated love story.
On the other hand, my second opinion, i do think that the twist in the story makes it a film that i would enjoy.
the fact that it is uncorked makes it more ... ...that arent in the normal version.
My favourite character would be the Secretary of treasurys Son.
Who plays a very funny part in the film, as a man who feels out of place in the family, because he doesnt want to follow the family trade, but wants to become a painter. ...

...flicking through the channels and Happy Gilmore was just about to start on one of the Sky Movie channels. So we decided that we needed a good laugh and settled down on the sofa to watch Sandler's genius at work.
You can get this on Amazon UK for as little as £2.98 brand new. As always, my advice would be to shop around. If you don't mind buying a second hand copy, I'm sure Ebay would have some really cheap bargains to be had as well!

Advantages: Funny, don't need to think too hard! Disadvantages: unrealistic but who cares?
Shanghai Knights is the sequel to Shanghai Noon (also a worth watching film). It stars Jackie Chan and Owen Wilson. Owen plays the slightly dimwitted but sometimes incredibly sharp Roy O'Bannon (did that make sense?), sidekick to Jackie's character Chon Wang.
Chong is the guy who can do everything and whom us mere mortals can only sick back and 'wow'. Owen Wilson makes Roy both a very funny character and character you feel you can identify with. ... ...most of the film stuck in various personal problems invovling his love life, family life (or lack of it) and his general lack of direction in life.
The plot goes from America to London England making a refreshing changeof scene from the last film. The film brings out the charming aspects of ol' London town in much the same unrealistic childish way as the first film which simply serves to make it more light-hearted and funny.
