Just re-release the original on DVD with deleted scenes, a nice feature documentary of the making and interview with Mel Brooks and sell it at an inflated cost as a special edition and you can scrape a few extra dollars out of this wonderful flick. Allen's gorilla warfare satire and political stabs (at J. Edgar Hoover and the likes) are memorable, one worth noting however- when trying to very discreetly, and unsuccessfully, buying a nudie magazine in small shop. The arrays of parodies are too vast to categorize- however, too often Allen dragged the burlesque of the scene. Family Guy comes under a lot of flak from other TV shows and fans of other TV shows, however I believe that it does not copy these other shows, but does something subtly different, and it does it darn well!
