Airplane! has surely got to be considered as one of the all time greats of satirical comedy today. I absolutely adore these two films, they make my side split with laughter from begining to end !!!! if you are not a fan of spoof and silly humour you may not apreciate them but if you are ever down in the dumps watch one of these, if you don't laugh or smile you need sectioning ha ha !!!! Allen's gorilla warfare satire and political stabs (at J. Edgar Hoover and the likes) are memorable, one worth noting however- when trying to very discreetly, and unsuccessfully, buying a nudie magazine in small shop. The arrays of parodies are too vast to categorize- however, too often Allen dragged the burlesque of the scene.
