only fools and horses
Advantages: funny Disadvantages: none
Only fools and horses is by far one of the best comedys around it all started with the main character del boy/derek trotter (Davis jason)and his 1 and only plonker of a brother rodney trotter (nicholas lindhurst).
It all started in the nelson mandella house in peckham were delboy always wanted to be a millionair but could never make del boy and his plonker of a brother rodney work at the local market selling dodgey gear to helpless people but when ...

Dinnerladies, It's What's That Word, Not Elephant, Excellent
Advantages: Funny, charming, lovely, easy to watch, great characters, great acting Disadvantages: No bonus features (almost lost it a star!)
...time we sat down together, Dinnerladies appeared before me. And as I did with Absolutely Fabulous I decided it would make a good thing to try and review and in case you haven't realised yet, this is me doing so. My review of Dinnerladies, the complete collection. Where's This Canteen? - About The Show In a fictional factory, in the less fictional Manchester, lies a small canteen to serve the workers of HWD Components with a range of tasty food. ... ...contains all 16 episodes of Dinnerladies which have been made. One thing to note is that the episode 'Christmas' from series 2 is listed as being on the second disc of the second series, however it is in fact on the first disc. So it's not missing, it's just moved next door! Confused me for a bit to say the least. Unfortunately this DVD set doesn't contain any additional features! No documentarys, deleted scenes, outtakes or anything! This is a little ...

Not as Good as the First 9
Advantages: Better than series 11 Disadvantages: Plastic head is a bit flimsy
This Series is probably the turning point in The Simpsons popularity. Previous series are some of the greatest television ever made and this series does have some great episodes but there are definately a few weak ones.
Lard of the Dance, Mom and Pop Art and Homer Simpson in: "Kidney Trouble" are full of the problems that have plagued the newer series, i.e Homer having some stupid random job and too many guest stars for no particular reason.
However ... ...chuckle as does Homer to the Max
The full episode list is:
Lard of the Dance The Wizard of Evergreen Terrace
Bart the Mother Treehouse of Horror IX When You Dish upon a Star D'oh-in in the Wind Lisa Gets an "A" Homer Simpson in: "Kidney Trouble" Mayored to the Mob Viva Ned Flanders Wild Barts Can't Be Broken Sunday, Cruddy Sunday Homer to the Max I'm with Cupid Marge Simpson in: "Screaming Yellow Honkers" Make Room for Lisa Maximum Homerdrive ...

'Love's like a butterfly…'??!
Advantages: Quite funny, interesting social commentary of the time Disadvantages: Wendy Craig's character quite annoying
...think it works better than Butterflies and, although it has got very silly recently, the original actors at least are all strong, whereas those in Butterflies just don’t seem to quite gel together. Unusually for a sitcom from this era, there are extras included on the DVD. There is an interview with Carla Lane, which I found really interesting – she now lives in the middle of nowhere and tends to keep away from people as far as she can – no more ... ...on the main actors’ filmographies and another one including production notes. The latter was quite interesting; for example, the theme tune is based on the original Dolly Parton one, but sung by Clare Torry, who is best known for her singing on the Pink Floyd album, The Dark Side of the Moon. Strangely, the extras are repeated on both the discs that make up the first series. In conclusion, I am not sure that I recommend this series, particularly ...

Scrubs - The complete fifth series
Advantages: Great performances from all actors and the characters have not changed from previous series. Disadvantages: The relationships between characters is hard to understand for new viewers
Scrubs is an American sitcom based in and around the sacred heart hospital run by chief of medicine Dr Bob Kelso (Ken Jenkins). Following the hugely successful series 1-4, the fifth does not disappoint! All 24 episodes are packed with outrageous humour like never before including many of JD?s (Zach Braff) classic girly antics and ridiculous fantasies often getting him into trouble with the egotistical Dr Perry Cox (John C. McGinley). You would ... ...Cox when he suffers a major blow after losing 3 patients, which sees him on a leave of absence from the hospital. The very last episode also finishes with a very significant twist. I highly recommend this series if you are as much of a scrubs fan as I am! ...
