Review of Only Fools And Horses - The Complete Series 1 To 7 (Box Set) by
beanie8844
Advantages: classic comedy
Disadvantages: none
Only fools and horses is the best British comedy ever made in my opinion. Based in the south London areas of Deptford and Peckham it follows the lives of Del Boy and Rodney Trotter, two wheeler dealer type businessmen who run their business trotters independent traders from the back of their three wheeled reliant robin van. The pair are always shifting dodgy goods and will do almost anything to earn a few quid. The show concentrates mainly on these ... ...this DVD set. Below I have listed all 64 episodes and my favourite ones have a star sign next to them; there really are some great episodes.
Series One:
- Big Brother
- Go West Young Man
- Cash and Curry

IrishaP
Advantages: Complete collection
Disadvantages: still not so many episodes
...is the complete collection of Vicar of Dibley series. However it doesn't include Comic Relief 2007 special.
(By the way, for those who don't know - this year comic relief special was the last episode of Vicar of Dibley in history. They stop making specials from now on). Only fools and horses began its life in 1981, penned by John Sullivan, who also wrote Citizen Smith.
The seven series, (and 19 Christmas specials) lasted through till 2003 and revolved around two main characters, Derek (Del)Trotter, (played by David Jason) and his younger brother Rodney, (played by Nicholas Lyndhurst), they lived at 23 Nelson Mandela house, a block of high rise flats in Peckham and drove a bright yellow three wheeled van with 'Trotters ... ...as everyone knew him, was a trader of sorts, ducking and diving through life, buying and selling anything he and his brother Rodney could get there hands on.
Rodney, however, was the more law abiding of the two, always being dragged into Dels tricks.
Other Characters Grandad, (played by Lennard Pearce), until his death in 1984, ( John Sulliven wrote a special episode in series 4 called "strained relations" to mark grandads funeral. Grandad was ...

Review of Ronnie Barker - The Ultimate Ronnie Barker DVD Collection (Box Set) by
Littleswamp1
Advantages: Contains 2 entire multiple disc series
Disadvantages: Not everyone favourites included, most of these repeated on satellite
...with the untimely death of Ronnie Barker. After introducing their comedic chemistry and archaic sketches from The Two Ronnies to a new generation, and his brief re-introduction to TV, Ronnie left us to reflect and watch umpteen repeats of his work that will never bore or cease to crease our faces.
Right then, enough of dwelling, you want to know what this is like. Well......... its a DVD box set!! Seriously, 12 discs of Ronnie in various series ... ...name Norman Stanley Fletcher, arguably Ronnie Barker's most famous character. I won't dwell too much here just to say it was et in Slade prision following the batle between 'them and us' with plenty of laughs on the way. My personal favourite occurs in the first episode when they receive their medicals. Remember the flasks? This set presents you with all the episodes and the Christmas specials. These specials are 40 minutes long but there are only ...
