Advantages: Funny Disadvantages: Special eps needed
The anime has a slightly diffrent story to it than the manga does but that does mean that it is watchable for those who have read the mangas like myself. Although I didn't like how the DVD set missed out some of the stories that you have to buy on special episodes and such, that made watching this quite hard when it skips out a huge chunk.
You don't really notice the missing plot unless you have already read the manga though, so I would recommend ... ...also get the special episodes so they don't miss a huge chunk of the story out.
Other than the missing part, the DVD and the anime itself is certainly worth buying and watching. I enjoyed this to the last episode, though the added features are nothing intresting, who watches them anyway, haha. ...

...much as I did. As the title suggests it all downhill from here.
My only criticism is The Principal and the Pauper has a bit of a nonsensical plot but still manages to raise a few laughs and another clip show is a bit annoying however I do love a few of the musical numbers.
