u cannot beat friends if u are trying to find a funny, more addictive, more outstanding comedy. without doubt, this is the best series i have ever seen and for me the box setts are an essential buy! ALL OF THEM :) i think most people are familliar with the series however i find it is still worth buying the box set as it is the sort of series that u can watch over and over and over again. i watch an episode a night at least! to match the sheer brilianc ... ...(another episode primarily set in one room). EP1: THE MAN WHO BLEW AWAY A very tragic tale of an old (unwanted) acquaintance. A shocking story, although there are some very funny twists. Quite possibly one of the funniest gags ever in this episode, the Meldrews are looking to buy a new car with an insurance payout after their car is stolen from a gardening centre carpark... only the police found it abandoned abroad with the creepers still growing ...
...and Wilson, although nothing of special interest is noted EP2. ONLY A STORY A very funny episode as Mrs Warboys provides light humour. Her flat is flooded so she is staying with the Meldrews. One of Britain's finest comedy series goes from strength to strength in this third series. The storylines are funnier and packed with quick-fire jokes and gags . Naomi Campbell also stars in this episode and certainly adds something to the episode as do the other celebrity guests such as Jeremy Beadle, Ruby Wax and Lulu when they also appear in other episodes. Series 3 is laugh out loud funny with some truly classic moments, a couple of episodes don't quite reach the funniest levels but this DVD is a must for any Ab Fab fan and I can wholeheartedly ...
