Allen's gorilla warfare satire and political stabs (at J. Edgar Hoover and the likes) are memorable, one worth noting however- when trying to very discreetly, and unsuccessfully, buying a nudie magazine in small shop. The arrays of parodies are too vast to categorize- however, too often Allen dragged the burlesque of the scene. Family Guy comes under a lot of flak from other TV shows and fans of other TV shows, however I believe that it does not copy these other shows, but does something subtly different, and it does it darn well! Family Guy focuses on the surreal lives of a cartoon family: Peter: Moronic father with no common sense or social awareness. He uses it steals some of Darcy's ideas to get her out of a job which leads to it actually happening. When this happens he feels guilty because he has fell in love with her.
