Carry On Loving is the first of the Carry Ons to be made in the 1970s, which was my favourite decade of the films in many respects. This is certainly a great film, although it doesn't seem to be one that many people remember. The story revolves around Sid James & Hattie Jacques as Sidney & Sophie Bliss, the owners of a dating agency called the Wedded Bliss Agency. The beautiful, but tragic, Imogen Hassall shines as Jenny Grubb, transformed from shy & bespectacled to a bosom beauty, gaining the amorous attentions of admiring Terence Philpott, played by the talented Terry Scott. Carry On Up The Jungle was made in 1969 & was the 19th Carry On film. Not surprisingly, it is set in the jungle (!), with more than a cupful of inspiration coming from the Tarzan films. In this, Terry Scott plays the Tarzan-esque Cecil the Jungle Boy & has one of the funniest scenes in the film, with Jacki Piper as June (ha ha !) trying to teach him a few facts about the two of them !
