...cannot profess to being a Laurel and Hardy fan – I do not have their DVD’s lined up along a shelf and I don’t have posters of their inane grinning faces on my walls. ...as ‘Way out west.’ Stan Laurel (the skinny one) was born in 1890 in England and died in 1965, Oliver Hardy (the fatter one) was born in 1892 in USA, but died earlier in 1957. They were geniuses of slapstick comedy and Hardy usually played the brains of the outfit, whereas Laurel was the dumber of the two. Advantages: delightful film to watch, good acting as well.
Disadvantages: none

BORN YESTERDAY is a very fine film,it stars JUDY HOLIDAY, WILLIAM HOLDEN and BRODRICK CRAWFORD, JUDY HOLIDAYS CHARACTOR in the film is that of a dumb blonde,she is the mistress of a (he thinks)important man. ...very like the film EDUCATING RITA of course they fall in love and she becomes very educated it is a great film and I can recomend it, the acting is superb,I have watched this film many times and you see some thing in it differently each time you watch it ...ITS GREAT. ...

Review of Born Yesterday (DVD)

Good Old Fashioned Innocent Comedy!

Advantages: Some good fun bits, good acting
Disadvantages: Black and white

They cannot take much more of his madness with Harvey as so they make the decision to have him committed. One Man And A Piano

Advantages: fantastic comedy show
Disadvantages: some dodgy camera angles

Review of Ready For This - Tim Minchin

A night you would want to remember!

Advantages: Funny, Famous cameo, Unpredictable
Disadvantages: slightly unbelievable at times.

Well I saw the Hangover in the cinema, and I plan on purchasing on DVD in the near future. I thought this film was hilarious - one of my friends more so as he decided to go to watch it in the cinema about 3 or 4 times! I personally felt the star of the show so to speak was Zach Galifianakis who played slightly odd soon to be brother in law Alan. I just thought his stupidity/twisted sense of humour was really funny, and entertained me all the way ...
...really, but at the same time quite amusing. I won't go into too much detail of what happens as I don't want to spoil any of the suprises during the film. Basically, the film is about a group of guys who go to Vegas for a bloke called Doug to have a stag night. Doug doesn't really feature in the film other than the beginning and end - as he goes missing - which is the point of the film. They wake up the morning after with a trashed hotel room, and ...
