Let Me Tell You "About Last Night"

Advantages: lots of 80s nostalgia
Disadvantages: somewhat cliched

About Last Night was pretty much based on David Mamet's stage play "Sexual Perversity in Chicago" which makes it sound pretty wild (it's not really)! Apparently they couldn't use the same title for the film due to the word "Perversity". It's a film worth watching if you like 80s movies with humor and lots of drama. PLOT TEASER Danny (Lowe) and Debbie (Moore) meet in a bar one night, one thing leads to another and they have a one-night stand. ...
...have other ideas. Not happy about losing their pals to a full-time relationship (which could potentially lead to marriage God forbid…) they go out of their way to try to ensure that the 2 leads want to have fun and just stay single. Danny's inability to commit to the relationship causes all manner of problems for them, but I won't tell you any more about the plot… But I will say it's one of those "Will they? Won't they?" (stay together) kind of stories! ...

Review of Intermission (DVD)

Comes Again And Comes Too Far?

Advantages: Alternative Panto-Comedy, dancers and routines, fairy godmothers and opening song
Disadvantages: Not for the faint of hearted, gross out gags and every swear word going.

Jim Davidson has never be shy of talking about the nitty gritty, cracking racists, sexist and every other type of joke under the sun. Combine this with the idea of an adult panto and its an interesting idea. There is no real storyline apart from the traditional Cinderella one changed to include T&A jokes. Unfortunately the idea isnt implemented terribly well. Jim steals the show obviously, leading the major jokes and pushing up the crowd. Its just ...
...old are executed well and Jim delievers his trademark sexual innuendo's well live. Its obvious he enjoys doing this which does redeem it somewhat. Best Bits:- Fairy Godmothers opening song, you'd just never expect it. Had me in stitches. Jim and Baron Von Hard-On having the fuck fight is blatantly improvisation but works well if somewhat crude. I doubt whether id watch this DVD for some time which does bring in its cost, not cheap with large online ...

Hillarious! Simple as that!

Advantages: Great amount of unseen footage for a very cheap price now!
Disadvantages: Have no issues with it!

Im a huge fan of the show and have been since i watched my very first episode of it! its very easy to watch and will have you in stitches guaranteed!, week to week they have new contestants who are famous comedians to give the show a new appeal each time while keeping ...
...play through different games to score points and win the game, these games include guessing the title of headline just from initials and on the spot stand up, every game is different and helps the show flow well! The show does get away with broadcasting a lot of, lets say 'on the line of appropriate' jokes but now we have been provided with even more that they couldn't! I managed to purchase the dvd for just £7 which is a bargain from amazon.co.uk. ...
